WHO WE ARE
Raymond Avenue Elementary PTA has been part of this school community since March 17, 1953. We are a local association of the Fullerton Council of PTAs, a member of the California State PTA, and a branch of the National PTA. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization governed entirely by Raymond parents and staff.

Our purpose, in the words of our own bylaws, is to promote the welfare of children and youth, to raise the standards of home life, to promote the collaboration and engagement of families and educators, and to secure the physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of all children and youth. In plain terms: we exist to make Raymond better for every student and to build the community around them.

We are noncommercial, nonsectarian, and nonpartisan. Every dollar we raise stays at Raymond.
WHAT WE FUND
Your PTA membership dues and fundraising go directly back into Raymond's students and programs. Over the course of a school year, the PTA funds and supports:

Field trips and 6th grade camp transportation, classroom enrichment that goes beyond what the school budget covers, community events that bring Raymond families together (Fall Carnival, Fun Run, Fiesta Final, and more), staff appreciation throughout the year, and direct school donations for student benefit.
We operate on a budget approved by our membership at the beginning of each school year. Financial reports are presented at every general meeting and are open to all members.
OUR COMMUNITY
Raymond Avenue Elementary serves Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade in Fullerton, California. We work to ensure that PTA events, communications, and opportunities are accessible to every Raymond family, regardless of language, background, or how much time you have to give.

You do not need to be a parent to get involved. Teachers, grandparents, neighbors, and anyone who cares about this school is welcome here. Membership is open to all. Volunteering asks for as little as one hour.

General membership meetings are held on the first Monday of each month during the school year. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Executive board meetings are held on the third Monday of each month.
